Here are some pictures taken during the imaging trip to Barbados, April 2006. Click on the images below to see a full-sized version
My 11 year old son Thomas is shown at the controls, keeping the f40 image of Saturn on chip with left hand whilst pausing the capture of the Lumenera during wind shakes with the right. Thank goodness for X Box games ! Loading the scopes back onto the dovetails was an early evening ritual, after they had spent a couple of hours cooling in the air-conditioned bedrooms.
 
Bruce and Damian are busy imaging Jupiter.! The reflective covers did a good job, but needed that little extra assistance in the overhead sun, to be up and running at ambient as soon as the sky dimmed.
