Slightly enlarged pair of prominences Date: 3oth December 2008 11:37ut Telescope: 6inch f15 achromat stopped to 4.5" x 90" fl Camera: Lumenera 075M

Small but very bright prominence Date: 30th December 2008 11:03ut Telescope: 6inch f15 achromat stopped to 4.5" Camera: Lumenera 075M The seeing on the 30th was pretty good for the low solar altitude here in the UK.

Another Boxing Day Prom Date: 26th December 2008 11:34ut Telescope: 6inch f15 achromat stopped to 4.5" with Daystar filter Camera: Lumenera 075M A not too unusual crowned spider type prominence, along with a bit of chromospheric disturbance.

Large Boxing Day Prominence Date: 26th December 2008 10:30ut Telescope: 6inch f15 achromat stopped to 4.5" With Daystar filter Camera: Lumenera 075M This is quite an unusual "fan-shaped" Prominence, and very large. It had been around for a few days before I managed to image it.
