RGB set of Mars Date: 26th Feb 2008 Telescope: C14 @ f50 Camera: Skynix 2.0M This is just about the last useable Image of Mars that I took in 2008

A series of Mars images Date: 19th Feb 2008 17:46ut to 19:41ut Telescope: C14 @ f50 Camera: Skynix 2.0M The evening was nice and clear with fair seeing, allowing a series of images to be taken throughout, covering 26 degrees of the planets rotation.

Mars, Getting gibbous Date: 9th FEB 2008 1955ut Telescope: C14 @ f50 Camera: Skynix 2.0M Mars South Pole is tilted towards us by 2.1 degrees. We have the North pole to look fwd to in 2010, when the declination of earth Earth is plus 14.4 Deg

Mars RGB set Date: 8th Feb-2008 Telescope: C14 @ f50 Camera: Skynix 2.0M Mars now is just 11.1 seconds of arc across now , but still shows plenty of detail. In early Feb 2010, it will be 14 seconds of arc, and 60 degrees high from the UK.

Mars RGB image set Date: 6th Feb 2008 Telescope: C14 @ f50 Camera: Skynix 2.0M Sorry about yet another study of the Solis Lacus region, this is what comes of travelling 60degrees East from Barbados and continuing to observe Mars in the UK. By doing this we lost coverage of some parts the planet, whilst it was at its largest, as also January here was mostly cloudy.
